Academy awards night success

More than 300 people attended Blues annual Academy Awards night at Edgbaston. 

The evening was to celebrate achievement, development and recognise the work of the Club's young aspiring players, coaches and staff.
 
Academy graduates Josh Dacres-Cogley and Corey O'Keeffe - both of whom made First Team debuts this season - were on hand to present age group certificates and prizes for Under-9s to Under-16s.
 
Dave Smith, a physio for 24 years, and John Dolloway, with a 17-year association, received Outstanding Achievement awards for their long service and commitment to the Academy.
 
There was a skills demonstration from footballer freestyler world record holder Ash Randall as part of the evening entertainment.
 
And £3,000 was raised on the night for charity, primarily via an auction which included signed memorabilia from Trevor Francis, Jack Butland, Nathan Redmond and Che Adams.

Under-11s - Taylor Need
Under-12s - Brandon Khela
Under-13s - Ty Barnett
Under-14s - Remi Walker
Under-15s/16s - Connor Stanley

Under 9s/12s - Oliver Bellizia (Under-10)
Under-13s/16s - Zach Jeacock (Under-16)
