Euro challenge for Blues starlet

The centre-half was selected for the tournament in Croatia after a strong series of performances for Blues Under-18s.
Redmond has yet to make his Under-17s debut for Ireland as injury this season hampered his availability.
But the purposeful defender is highly thought of by his country as well as Blues, after joining the Club just over a year ago from Dublin side St. Joseph's Boys AFC.
A First Year Academy Scholar, Redmond helped Blues Under-17s to an impressive 3-2 win against Manchester United Under-17s at St. Andrew's last Saturday before linking up with Ireland.
Ireland are in Group C with Germany, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their first match is against Serbia on Thursday afternoon.
