Blues drawn away in Senior Cup

Blues have been handed an away tie against Coventry Sphinx in the first round of this season's Birmingham Senior Cup.

A date and venue for the game will be confirmed in due course.

They are currently fourth in the table with 13 points from their six games.

Blues last won the BSC in the 2014-15 season when they beat Nuneaton Town 2-1, in what was Nikola Zigic's last appearance for the Club.

It is usual for Blues to play their Under-23s side in the competition

Richard Beale’s side were beaten at the first round stage last season after suffering a 2-0 defeat away at Nuneaton Town.

Stourbridge are the current holders of the trophy.
