Teenage goalkeeper Adam Siviter has today signed his first professional contract with the club.

Siviter, who turns 18 on 15 June, has penned a one-year deal, which runs until 30 June 2019, with a further one-year option in the Club's favour,

The Walsall-born youngster first joined Blues at the age of 12 following a successful trial.

He has gone on to progress through the age groups and last season made 29 starts for the Club's Under-18s side, more than any other player.

These included all of the FA Youth Cup games, as Blues reached the semi-final stage before losing to eventual winners Chelsea.

He also racked up three appearances for Blues Under-23s.

A boyhood Blues fan and former season ticket holder, Siviter comes from footballing stock.

His father Neil represented England schoolboys and was in Blues' professional ranks during the mid-1980s until a serious knee injury ended his footballing dreams.
