Guests packed out Edgbaston, home of Warwickshire CCC, to also help raise more than £1,500 for the Club's charity partner, the Geoff Horsfield Foundation.
Charlie Lakin was the star guest who presented the trophies to the players, throughout the entire Academy spectrum from Under-9s to Under-16s.
Former Blues Academy player Charlie Fogarty, MBE, gave a moving and inspirational address about how he battled back from a serious brain injury suffered after being hit by a car when crossing the road.
Charlie, who has since played World Cup football for the Northern Ireland Cerebal Palsy team, impressed upon a captivated audience about the need to never give up and follow your dreams, no matter the odds.
And Charlie's brother, Tommy Fogarty, was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award, after captaining Ireland Under-15s this season.
Another key award went to Trevan Sanusi, of Blues Under-12s. Open to every age group, Trevan received the Special Recognition Award, marking a fine season that saw him win player of the tournament and attacker of the tournament at the Riga Cup for 2007s and 2006s.
The Academy Awards 2019 was supported by our partners and official energy suppliers Utilita, the Blues Academy principal sponsors.
