A number of Blues players have been called up by their respective countries ahead of the international break.

Defender Geraldo Bajrami in named in the Albania Under-21s squad ahead of their UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2021 qualifying home fixture against Kosovo on October 15.

Bajrami, who signed a two-year deal with the Blues in the summer, made his first senior start for the Club in August.

Welsh midfielder Ryan Stirk is named in his country's Under-21s squad for their European Under-21 Championship Group 9 qualifier against Moldova in Moldova on 11 October.

Fellow Blues midfielder Caolan Boyd-Munce will be away with Northern Ireland for their two UEFA U21 qualifying matches.

Northern Ireland travel to Denmark on 10 October, before visiting Romania on 14 October.

Finally, Blues goalkeeper Zach Jeacock has been named in the England Under-19s squad that will play two friendly fixtures in the Spanish city of Marbella.

Jeacock, is currently on loan with non-league side Gloucester City,

The Young Lions test themselves against France on 9 October before coming up against Belgium three days later.
