Blues are looking to improve on last season’s fourth-place finish in what is arguably the most competitive women’s top-flight league to date following the promotion of Manchester United and Tottenham.
Marta Tejedor’s side kick off the 2019/20 Barclays WSL season with a home match against Everton. The fixture mirrors last year’s opener, which Blues won 1-0 thanks to a Charlie Wellings strike after 42 seconds.
We’ll wait until Sunday 1 December and Sunday 15 December to face league newcomers Tottenham and Manchester United for the first time.
2020 will begin with away trips to reigning WSL champions, Arsenal, on Sunday 5 January, and Reading on Sunday 12 January.
In the last three matches of the 2019/20 campaign we’ll host West Ham on Sunday 5 April and Arsenal on Sunday 26 April, before a final day away encounter against Manchester United on Sunday 16 May.
