Humzah’s Magical Moment with Morro

Great to see you Humzah and keep right on!

Humzah Mudhar’s dreams came true on Wednesday evening when he led his beloved Blues out at St. Andrew’s with captain Michael Morrison.

Despite the disappointing 2-0 defeat against Millwall, the 14-year-old had an “amazing and special time” as Blues’ VIP mascot.

Humzah who has spina bifida, met his Blues heroes in the dressing room before the game including his favourite player Che Adams and enjoyed behind-the-scenes access throughout the evening at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium.

“It was a good night, although not the result we were looking for. Everything else was amazing and I got to walk out with the captain which was really special,” said Humzah.

Earlier this week, Wes Harding sent Humzah a video message inviting him to be mascot for the evening as part of the Club’s Level Playing Field weeks of action activities. Level Playing Field highlights the positive partnership with disabled supporters by showing commitment to access and inclusion for disabled fans.
