The 31-year-old winger, who currently has 19 senior caps to his name, recently participated in a DR Congo training camp in Spain, which also saw Florent Ibengé's side take in a friendly against Kenya in Madrid which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Maghoma is one of four British-based players who will be representing DR Congo in the finals, with places in the 23-man squad also for Britt Assombalonga of Middlesbrough, Celtic’s Youssouf Mulumbu and West Ham United’s Arthur Masuaku
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals are being staged in Egypt from 21 June - 19 July, meaning that Maghoma will return later than his Blues colleagues for pre-season training.
The DR Congo are in Group A, with all their games taking place in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
The Leopards will take on Uganda on 22 June, before coming up against host nation Egypt on 26 June and then Zimbabwe on 30 June.
In terms of the current FIFA rankings; DR Congo are 49th in the world, Egypt 58th, Uganda 80th and Zimbabwe 109th.
