Young striker Ronan Hale has had his contract with Blues cancelled by mutual consent.

The 20-year-old will now join NIFL Premiership side Crusaders FC.

Belfast-born Hale came to Blues back in the summer of 2015 after leaving Cliftonville.

His early prolific goalscoring form with Blues Under-18s saw him rewarded with a three-year professional contract which was due to come to an end this summer.

However, the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international was unable to make the breakthrough into the senior ranks and recently spent an extended period out on loan at Derry City.

The Club would like to wish Ronan all the very best in his future career.
