Blues will face Brighton & Hove Albion in a pre-season friendly at the St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium.

The fixture will take place on Saturday, 27 July (3pm), Blues' final warm-up match ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

The match sees the return of former full-back and Academy product Graham Potter.

Potter was appointed the Seagulls manager after the dismissal of ex-Blues boss Chris Hughton.

Potter left Swansea City for Brighton, signing a four-year contract.

Blues faced Brighton in their final friendly last summer. Maikel Kieftenbeld fired Blues into the lead with a stunning shot, but the visitors equalised in added-time through Yves Bissouma.

Although guiding them to the FA Cup Semi-Finals and securing top-flight status again, Hughton was sacked after Brighton finished 17th in the Premier League, on the back of three wins in their last 23 league games and none in their final nine.

Ticketing arrangements are to be announced at a later date.
