The duo have missed Blues' last two games, with Toral carrying a slight groin problem, whilst Jutkiewicz was out with a confirmed case of Coronavirus.
"I don't know yet because they have been off today, and I've been in my office and I haven't seen the doctor and the fitness coaches," said Blues' Head Coach when asked about their availability for the weekend.
"Jukey is fine, but he is not here. We’re speaking to the doctors and following the protocols, so let's see when he can be with us.
"Everybody else was tested last week and they are fine. Hopefully he will be the first and the last one."
Karanka also confirmed that recent loan signing Jake Clarke-Salter will not figure until at least next month because of injury.
"He's out injured and will probably be at least another two or three weeks. He had a problem two days before (the Norwich) game with his calf."
Midfielder Adam Clayton will be forced to miss the trip to West London as he serves out a one-match ban after collecting a red card in the defeat at Norwich City earlier this week.
"In that position we are more than covered," continued Karanka.
"We've got Gardner, Sunjic, Maikel (Kieftenbeld) and even Muncie (Caolan Boyd-Munce).
"I'm considering Muncie because he’s training really well. He's young and intelligent and has the right character."
Karanka also hinted that Mikel San Jose is in contention for his first start after making a cameo appearance as a stoppage time substitute against The Canaries.
"I am considering playing him on Saturday because his experience and quality can help us," said Karanka.
"For sure but he is not yet 100 per cent because he only arrived two or three weeks ago. But the only way to get to 100 per cent is to play.
"Even not being 100 per cent, he's going to be an important player for us."
Elsewhere in the squad, Josh McEachran remains out with an ACL injury.
