The Trust, a charity which uses football to engage and inspire people across the city, will be sharing some of the fantastic work they are doing within the local area to bring together locals of all ages, backgrounds or footballing ability.
In celebration of the Trust’s work, every member of the Blues first team squad will wear a bespoke home shirt featuring the Community Trust logo, each of which will be signed and auctioned off following the game in the Legends’ Lounge.
Furthermore, the players will warm-up in You Vs Train T-shirts which is a Community Trust project delivered in partnership with the EFL Trust and Network Rail to warn young people of the hidden dangers of the railway and going on or near tracks. The warm-up t-shirts will be thrown to fans in the crowd prior to kick-off
A variety of family-friendly interactive stations will take place outside the stadium, including skills competitions by the Kop reception and a Beau and Belle Brummie colouring contest in the Family Zone. There will be a wide variety of prizes to be won, from signed memorabilia to hospitality packages.
There will also be a bucket collection around the ground prior to kick-off, with funds raised going towards the Trust’s PAN Disability Football Programme, which has been particularly successful in offering a safe, nurturing footballing environment to those who otherwise would not have one.
Look out for the Trust’s volunteers in and around the ground on Saturday who will be thrilled to discuss their endeavours and will also be carrying out the bucket collection in a bid to raise funding to further their great work.
Tickets for this fixture start at just £20 for adults, £10 for under 18’s and £5 for under 13’s.
