Maple from Canada has spent three very successful years as the Club’s Principal Partner, and will now continue its great relationship with Blues Women as an official Club partner.
Maple from Canada, led by Québec Maple Syrup Producers (QMSP), is the reference brand for pure Canadian maple syrup – a healthier alternative to processed sugars and other sweeteners.
The partnership aims to inspire young women to get active and educate them about the importance of nutrition in both sport and everyday life.
Over the past three seasons, Maple from Canada’s UK Chef Ambassador, David Colcombe, has educated the squad on how to create healthy, maple-based dishes that will fuel them before and after training, and highlighted the importance of a nutritious diet.
The Club’s sports scientist, Holly Pickett, also worked alongside Chef Colcombe to create bespoke recipes for the First Team squad. Professional athletes regularly use maple syrup within their cooking; its natural sugars and healthy supply of vitamins and nutritious make it the perfect natural source of energy.
Both staff and players alike have benefited on and off the pitch from Maple from Canada’s first-class education, passion for the sport and ongoing support for the team.

Ian Dutton, Chief Commercial Director at Birmingham City Football Club, said: “We are delighted to be continuing the relationship with Maple from Canada. The Women’s team have enjoyed great support from the Maple from Canada team over the past few years and we are excited to continue to grow this relationship."
"We have some exciting things to come this year from the partnership which I’m sure fans will benefit from.”
Mylène Denicolaï, Promotion and Market Development Director at Québec Maple Syrup Producers, added: “We’re pleased to be continuing our international marketing and promotional efforts with Birmingham City Women and continuing to showcase maple syrup as key natural energy source for professional athletes.
“With the curtailment of last season, we felt there was still an opportunity to partner up with the Club and keep the momentum behind women’s football going. It’s important that commercial partners like Maple from Canada remain associated with the sport and we're pleased the new season is now underway.”
