Community Trust matchday a success

As Blues continued their unbeaten run on the pitch, Saturday was also a success off the field.

The fixture marked the first-ever Blues Community Trust matchday at St. Andrew’s and it was a great success.

Despite testing weather conditions, volunteers were out in force chatting to supporters and informing them about the Trust’s work in the local community.

Through bucket collections and a raffle on the day, an excellent £1,800 in donations was raised to fund and further this work.

We are proud to confirm that the Club will match this figure pound-for-pound.

Among the Trust’s provisions are the PAN Disability football programme, which has been a big hit in its inaugural season.

“It helps get me out and about and meeting people,” said PAN Disability team member Liam Hindley, who confirmed Saturday was “a great day” for all involved with the programme.
