Blues defender Remeao Hutton has joined League Two Stevenage on loan for the duration of the 2020/21 season.

However, as part of the deal Blues do have a recall option in place for the January 2021 window should it be required.

The 21-year spent last season with National League outfit Yeovil Town. He made 29 appearances for The Glovers and scored once as they lost out on promotion back into the Football League at the final hurdle after being beaten by Barnet in the Football Conference Play-Off in July.

Hutton, who signed a two-year deal with Blues in 2019, can play as a full-back, centre-half or midfielder.

He has been with Blues since 2017 after catching the Club's attention playing non-league football with Hednesford Town. He had previously been at Walsall for several years.

Stevenage are managed by former Boro forward Alex Revell, who took over the role following the departure of Graham Westley in February.

Despite finishing in the bottom two and seemingly relegated into non-league, Boro escaped the drop after Macclesfield Town replaced them following a points deduction.
